💡 Tip for a consistently effective egg slicer
Let the hard-boiled egg cool completely before slicing — a still-warm egg crushes under the wires. For very ripe strawberries: place them stalk-end down — the wires pass more easily in the natural grain direction. Clean the wires under cold water immediately after use to prevent residue drying and sticking the wires.
